Dulain is a software engineer and entrepreneur passionate about building technology that solves real-world problems. His work sits at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, fintech, and education, with a particular focus on products that pair strong technical foundations with meaningful user impact.

His background spans full-stack development, system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and AI integration, with deep experience across modern technologies including React, Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, AWS, and machine learning frameworks, alongside large language models and their practical applications. He has conducted extensive research into AI and its applications during his double master's — an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering at King's College London and an MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management at Imperial College London.

Beyond research, he is drawn to ambitious technology ventures. He is currently building the process of building a B2B software ecosystem that enables non-technical users to build customised software — expanding a POS core into payment terminals and payment infrastructure to serve Sri Lanka's digitalisation.

Education and mentorship are a lasting interest. Whether through tutoring or building learning technologies, he believes technology should empower people to learn more effectively and grow through hands-on experience.

What motivates him most is solving hard problems that demand both technical depth and strategic thinking. He thrives working across disciplines, collaborating with experts from different fields, and turning ideas into products that deliver measurable value — approaching every project with curiosity, a commitment to continuous learning, and a focus on solutions that are intuitive, reliable, and impactful.
